Hello, I am Ungureanu Crenguta, a Finance student at Constantin Brancusi University of Targu Jiu. I completed a two-month traineeship mobility at Istanbul Gedik University's Financial Affairs Department during August and September 2024.

My time at Istanbul Gedik University was truly memorable. The finance department staff were incredibly welcoming, and despite the language barrier, we managed to communicate in English. I had the chance to assist with organizing and completing paperwork, and the office staff was always grateful for our help. Istanbul is such a beautiful city, full of history and life. I spent two months there during my traineeship, and I loved exploring the city’s incredible sights and enjoying its vibrant atmosphere.

The people at Gedik University are both professional and friendly. Our Erasmus coordinators, Mrs. Ilayda and Mr. Yücel Kamar, were always supportive and made sure we felt at home. The university itself is beautiful, organized, and has a warm and welcoming environment.

I highly recommend Gedik University for anyone joining the Erasmus program. It’s a great place to learn, meet wonderful people, and experience the charm of Istanbul. I’m grateful for this opportunity and for everyone who made it so special!
