Founded in 2012 by Gedik Holding, a leading industrial company with a legacy of over 60 years, Istanbul Gedik University (IGUN) has rapidly grown into a distinguished institution in Turkey. With six faculties, one graduate education institute, two vocational schools, and one school of foreign languages, we offer more than 100 academic programs, catering to nearly 12,000 students, including over 1,000 international students.
Our commitment to industry-university cooperation is reflected in the university’s steady success and growth. IGUN operates across four campuses and is home to a number of research centers and laboratories that emphasize hands-on training. This approach ensures that our students are not only well-equipped with theoretical knowledge but also prepared to apply it in real-world settings.
