Istanbul Gedik University welcomed representatives from Todor Kableshkov University of Transport as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen international academic cooperation.

On 11 August 2026, Prof. Dr. Krasimir Krastanov and Yulian Kovachev from Todor Kableshkov University of Transport visited Istanbul Gedik University.

The visit was attended by Prof. Dr. Feriha Erfan Kuyumcu, Rector of Istanbul Gedik University; Lecturer Yücel Kamar, International Relations Director and Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator; Ezgi Yıldız and İlayda Önder from the Erasmus Office; and Dr. Elif Türk and Dr. Ali Aytaç from the Department of International Trade and Logistics (English).

During the meeting, discussions focused on strengthening the existing cooperation between the two universities, Erasmus+ student and staff mobility, academic collaboration, and potential joint initiatives. Particular attention was given to opportunities for cooperation in the fields of transportation, logistics, and international trade, as well as the development of joint academic activities and projects.
