On 18 December 2025, Prof. Dr. Kostas Indounas from Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) and Dr. Evgenia Pavlakou, Associate Dean and Head of Research & PhD Programs at New York College Greece, paid an official visit to Istanbul Gedik University.

During the visit, representatives of both institutions introduced their universities and shared information about their academic structures, research priorities, and internationalization strategies. Productive discussions were held on potential areas of collaboration, with a particular focus on Erasmus+ cooperation opportunities and Key Action 2 (KA2) projects, including joint research initiatives and capacity-building activities.

The meeting provided a valuable platform to exchange ideas, explore future partnerships, and strengthen academic ties between the institutions. Istanbul Gedik University welcomes such international engagements and looks forward to developing concrete cooperation opportunities in the coming period.
