On June 26, 2025, as part of his visit to Thessaloniki for the ERACON 2025 Conference, Yücel Kamar, International Relations  Director and Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator, conducted an official visit to the University of Macedonia (UoM), a prominent higher education institution based in Thessaloniki, Greece.

During the visit, Mr. Kamar held a bilateral meeting with Ms. Maria Chanioti, Erasmus+ KA1 Project Manager at UoM, and Mrs. Mariet Vaina, Head of the International and Public Relations Office. The discussions focused on exploring prospective collaboration opportunities between the two universities, particularly within the framework of Erasmus+ mobility programs and potential joint initiatives under Key Action 1 (KA1).

The meeting also allowed for the exchange of best practices in internationalization strategies and Erasmus+ implementation, setting the groundwork for future academic cooperation and project-based partnerships.
