As part of efforts to strengthen international academic cooperation, representatives of İstanbul Gedik University paid an official visit to Azerbaijan Technical University on 8 July 2026.

The delegation, consisting of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Redvan Ghasemlounia from the Department of Civil Engineering, Yücel Kamar, Erasmus Office Coordinator, and Ezgi Yıldız, Erasmus Office Specialist, met with university representatives to discuss opportunities for future collaboration in the fields of higher education, research, and international mobility.

During the visit, both institutions exchanged information on their academic structures, internationalization strategies, and Erasmus+ activities. Discussions focused on establishing sustainable partnerships through student and staff mobility, joint academic initiatives, collaborative research projects, and other areas of mutual interest.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to share experiences and explore new avenues for cooperation that will contribute to the international development of both universities. The visit marked an important step toward strengthening institutional ties and fostering long-term collaboration between İstanbul Gedik University and Azerbaijan Technical University.
