On 28 April 2026, Istanbul Gedik University held an online cooperation meeting with Universiteti "Ismail Qemali", Vlorë, Albania, to discuss opportunities for strengthening institutional collaboration and developing future academic partnerships. Representing Universiteti "Ismail Qemali", Vlorë, Ms. Romina Tahiraj (Xhelaj) participated in the meeting. On behalf of Istanbul Gedik University, International Relations Director and Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator Lecturer Yücel Kamar, together with International Relations Office staff members Ezgi Yıldız and İlayda Önder, attended the meeting. During the meeting, the participants exchanged information about their institutions and discussed potential areas of cooperation, including Erasmus+ programmes, student and staff mobility opportunities, and future joint academic initiatives. The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to further strengthening relations and exploring collaborative projects between the two universities. Istanbul Gedik University looks forward to developing a fruitful and sustainable partnership with Universiteti "Ismail Qemali", Vlorë in the coming years.
