On 07.01.2026,  Istanbul Gedik University held an online cooperation meeting with PTUK – Palestine Technical University-Kadoorie, located in Palestine.

The meeting was attended on behalf of Istanbul Gedik University by International Relations Director and Erasmus Institutional Coordinator Lecturer Yücel Kamar, İlayda Önder and Ezgi Yıldız and Prof. Dr. Esra Doğu Hüzmeli, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation.

Representing PTUK, Professor Dr. Rana Samara, University President Assistant for International Academic Cooperation Office, participated in the meeting.

During the meeting, both institutions introduced their academic structures and internationalization strategies. Potential areas of cooperation, particularly within the scope of Erasmus+ KA2 Project and future academic collaborations, were discussed in a productive and constructive manner.

The meeting marked an important step toward strengthening institutional relations and exploring possible partnership opportunities between Istanbul Gedik University and PTUK.
