On 4 May 2026, Istanbul Gedik University held an online meeting with Kimyo International University in Tashkent (KIUT), Uzbekistan, to discuss opportunities for strengthening bilateral cooperation and developing future academic partnerships.Representing KIUT, Erasmus Coordinator Mr. Farkhad Niyazov and Ms. Khursida Muminova participated in the meeting. On behalf of Istanbul Gedik University, International Relations Director and Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator Lecturer Yücel Kamar attended the meeting. During the meeting, the participants exchanged information about their institutions and discussed potential areas of collaboration, including Erasmus+ mobility opportunities, academic exchange, and other international cooperation activities. The meeting served as a valuable platform for exploring future partnership opportunities and strengthening relations between the two institutions. Both universities expressed their interest in developing sustainable cooperation and pursuing future joint initiatives in the fields of education and internationalization.
