On 17 April 2026, Istanbul Gedik University held an online cooperation meeting with "Aleksandër Moisiu" University of Durrës (UAMD), Albania. The meeting was organized to discuss potential areas of collaboration and to strengthen academic and international relations between the two institutions. Representing UAMD, Ms. Klarida Prendi participated in the meeting. The meeting was attended by representatives from Istanbul Gedik University. On behalf of the International Relations and Erasmus Coordination Office, International Relations Director and Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator Lecturer Yücel Kamar, Ezgi Yıldız, and İlayda Önder participated in the meeting. During the meeting, the participants exchanged information about their institutions and discussed opportunities for cooperation within the framework of Erasmus+ programmes, student and staff mobility, and future joint academic activities. The meeting concluded with a mutual willingness to enhance collaboration and develop sustainable international partnerships between the two universities.
