An online cooperation meeting was held on October 27, 2025, between Istanbul Gedik University and The Higher Institute of Specific Studies (HISS), located in Giza, Egypt. During the meeting, both institutions delivered presentations introducing their universities and discussed potential areas of collaboration.

Representing Istanbul Gedik University were International Relations Director and Erasmus Institutional Coordinator Lecturer Yücel Kamar and Assistant Expert İlayda Önder, while Dr. Mostafa Helal attended the meeting on behalf of HISS.
