Lecturer Yücel Kamar, International Relations Director and Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator at Istanbul Gedik University, successfully completed an Erasmus+ KA171 Staff Training Mobility at Khazar University in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 6 to 10 July 2026.

Throughout the mobility programme, Mr. Kamar participated in professional training sessions addressing Erasmus+ mobility management, internationalization strategies, institutional cooperation, and the latest developments in higher education administration. The programme offered valuable insights into best practices for enhancing international partnerships and improving the quality of Erasmus+ implementation.

The mobility also facilitated the exchange of knowledge and experiences with higher education professionals from different institutions, contributing to the development of sustainable international collaborations and expanding the university's global partnerships.

As part of its internationalization strategy, Istanbul Gedik University continues to encourage staff participation in Erasmus+ activities, fostering professional development while strengthening its position within the international academic community.
