Istanbul Gedik University Successfully Organized the Online Component of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP)
Between 8–12 June 2026, Istanbul Gedik University successfully organized the online component of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) entitled "Trade Corridors, Connectivity and Resilience in International Logistics." The programme was coordinated and hosted by Istanbul Gedik University in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, the Department of International Trade and Logistics (English), and the Vocational School's Foreign Trade Programme (English). The online programme brought together students and academics from Istanbul Gedik University and its international partner institutions, including Todor Kableshkov Higher School of Transport, University of Aveiro, and Krakow University of Economics. Throughout the week, participants attended a series of interactive online lectures delivered by academics from the partner universities. The programme focused on contemporary issues in international logistics, including trade corridors, connectivity, supply chain resilience, and emerging challenges in global transportation networks. The sessions provided an international learning environment that encouraged academic exchange, intercultural dialogue, and collaborative discussion. The successful completion of the online phase marked an important milestone in the programme, further strengthening the academic cooperation between the partner institutions and promoting the internationalization objectives of Istanbul Gedik University through the Erasmus+ Programme.
