Istanbul Gedik University Successfully Hosted the Physical Component of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP)
Following the successful completion of its online phase, the physical component of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) entitled "Trade Corridors, Connectivity and Resilience in International Logistics" was held at Istanbul Gedik University between 15–19 June 2026. The programme welcomed students and academic staff from the partner institutions, including Todor Kableshkov Higher School of Transport, University of Aveiro, and Krakow University of Economics. The week began with an opening conference, bringing together participants to discuss the objectives of the programme and the importance of international collaboration in the field of logistics. Throughout the mobility, participants attended a series of seminars, workshops, and interactive academic sessions focusing on trade corridors, connectivity, and resilience in international logistics. In addition to the academic programme, participants took part in several cultural activities designed to introduce them to Istanbul's rich heritage. The social programme included a Bosphorus boat tour and a guided city tour of Taksim and its surrounding historical areas, providing participants with opportunities for intercultural exchange and networking. The programme concluded with a Certificate Award Ceremony, where participants were recognized for their successful completion of the Blended Intensive Programme. Following the ceremony, the international guests returned to their home countries, marking the successful completion of another Erasmus+ international cooperation initiative hosted by Istanbul Gedik University.
