Istanbul Gedik University Participated in the Erasmus+ KA131 Mobility Project Management Meeting

Istanbul Gedik University was represented by Ezgi Yıldız, Specialist at the International Relations and Erasmus+ Office, at the Erasmus+ Higher Education KA131 Mobility Project Management Meeting, held at Dicle University on 28–29 September 2026.

The two-day meeting brought together representatives from higher education institutions and the Turkish National Agency to exchange up-to-date information, experiences, and good practices concerning the implementation and management of Erasmus+ KA131 mobility projects.

The first day of the meeting commenced with opening remarks delivered by Prof. Dr. Osman Solmaz, Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator at Dicle University; Kemal Başçı, Coordinator for Higher Education at the Turkish National Agency; and Prof. Dr. Kamuran Eronat, Rector of Dicle University.

Following the opening session, Onur Altuğ, Assistant Expert at the Turkish National Agency, provided a comprehensive overview of the Key Changes Introduced in the 2026 Implementation Handbook. The programme continued with a session by Hüseyin Özdemir, who addressed Common Issues Encountered in Final Reports and Audits, highlighting key considerations for effective project implementation, monitoring, and reporting.

The first day also featured a presentation by Merve Nacar, Assistant Expert at the Turkish National Agency, focusing on Digitalisation and recent developments in the digital management of Erasmus+ processes. The day concluded with a session delivered by Sema Çilek Çamur on the Erasmus Application Portal, providing participants with further insights into the current application procedures and digital tools.

The second day focused on Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs), with presentations delivered by Nurcan Çivici, Expert at the Turkish National Agency, and Hülya İncekara, Erasmus+ Coordinator at İzmir University of Economics. The sessions provided participants with practical insights into the planning, implementation, and management of BIP activities within the Erasmus+ framework.

The programme continued with a presentation by Prof. Dr. Abdülkadir Gölcü, Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator at Selçuk University, who introduced the Mobile Mind in Motion Project and shared relevant experiences and practices.

The meeting concluded with a session by Elif Bozçam on Inclusion Support, addressing the mechanisms and considerations involved in facilitating the participation of individuals with fewer opportunities in Erasmus+ mobility activities.

Throughout the two-day programme, participants had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences on a broad range of topics, including the implementation and management of KA131 mobility projects, reporting and audit procedures, digitalisation, application processes, Blended Intensive Programmes, and inclusion support.

The meeting provided a valuable platform for higher education institutions to strengthen their understanding of current Erasmus+ practices, exchange institutional experiences, and follow recent developments in the implementation of mobility projects. Istanbul Gedik University will continue to closely follow developments within the Erasmus+ Programme and contribute to the effective and sustainable implementation of international mobility opportunities for its students and staff.
