On 12 May 2026, the Consultation Meeting on Internationalization in Higher Education was held at Ankara University with the participation of representatives from higher education institutions across Türkiye. Representing Istanbul Gedik University, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Prof. Dr. Egemen Sulukan and International Relations Director and Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator Lecturer Yücel Kamar attended the meeting. During the event, presentations were delivered on the current state and future goals of internationalization in higher education, international activities and support mechanisms, as well as the internal structures and operational practices of institutions working in the field of internationalization. The meeting provided an important platform for sharing experiences, discussing challenges and opportunities, and exchanging best practices among higher education institutions. Istanbul Gedik University remains committed to strengthening its internationalization efforts and actively participating in national and international initiatives that contribute to the global engagement of higher education.
