Istanbul Gedik University (IGUN) Discusses Bilateral Colloboration Opportunities with South Mediterrenian University, Libya.
On 5 March 2026, Istanbul Gedik University held an online cooperation meeting with South Mediterrenian University, located in Libya.
The meeting was attended on behalf of Istanbul Gedik University by International Relations Director & Erasmus Coordinator Yücel Kamar, Ezgi Yıldız and İlayda Önder from the International Relations and Erasmus Coordination Office.
Representing South Mediterrenian University, Libya, University Registrar (General) Haneen Almabrouk participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, both institutions introduced their academic structures and internationalization strategies. Potential areas of cooperation, particularly within the scope of Erasmus+ mobility programs and future academic collaborations, were discussed in a productive and constructive manner.
The meeting marked an important step toward strengthening institutional relations and exploring possible partnership opportunities between Istanbul Gedik University and South Mediterrenian University.
