In addition to the KA131 programme, which enables the University to conduct exchange programmes with European countries participating in the Erasmus+ Programme, we have also been actively and strongly involved in the KA171 programme (International Credit Mobility – ICM), which facilitates exchange programmes with countries outside Europe, particularly over the past two years.

Excluding consortium projects, our University ranked second among foundation universities in Türkiye in terms of the highest grant amount awarded under the 2025 call, securing a total of EUR 85,000. According to the 2026 results, despite shifting our focus towards centralised and country-based projects such as KA2, Capacity Building, Jean Monnet Modules/Centres of Excellence, and Policy Experiments, and consequently reducing our emphasis on KA171, Istanbul Gedik University was awarded a grant of EUR 70,000 at the discretion of the Turkish National Agency, ranking fourth among foundation universities.

We are also particularly pleased that, for the first time this year, we will be launching exchange programmes with countries such as Malaysia, Nigeria, Algeria and Lebanon.
