Istanbul Gedik University (IGUN) has been represented by Yücel Kamar, Intrenational Relations Director and Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator, at EAIE 2026 Conference & exhibition in Glasgow in 8-11 September,2026. The first EAIE experience of IGUN has come to a highly productive and successful conclusion.

EAIE 2026 provided Istanbul Gedik University with a valuable opportunity not only to strengthen relationships with existing international partners, but also to connect with universities and international organisations from around the world. Throughout the event, IGUN had many fruitful discussions, explored new areas of cooperation, and reached mutual understanding with several institutions on developing new partnerships. 

IGUN would also like to express their sincere gratitude to the Turkish National Agency for their remarkable support for the internationalisation of Turkish higher education. By providing free exhibition stands to Istanbul Gedik University and 93 other Turkish universities under Study in Türkiye pavillion, the National Agency enabled IGUN and other particioants to enhance international visibility, expand networks, and establish new connections with institutions from across the world.

It was a truly valuable experience for Istanbul Gedik University, and IGUN looks forward to turning the connections and ideas developed at EAIE 2026 into sustainable academic partnerships and new international projects.
