Istanbul Gedik University and University of Zagreb Representatives Held an Online Meeting to Discuss Future Collaborations

On September 11, 2025, an online meeting was held between the representatives of Istanbul Gedik University and the University of Zagreb, aiming to strengthen ties and explore collaboration opportunities between the two institutions.

Istanbul Gedik University was represented by Prof. Dr. Egemen Sulukan, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering; Assist. Prof. Dr. Kıvanç Ali Anıl; Assist. Prof. Dr. Doruk Gürkan; Lecturer Yücel Kamar, Institutional Erasmus and External Relations Coordinator; and İlayda Önder from the Office of External Relations and Erasmus Coordination.

From the University of Zagreb, the meeting was attended by Ms. Katarina Plancutić, Mobility Advisor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture; Prof. Dr. Sc. Morana Mihaljević, ECTS Coordinator for Incoming Students; along with Mr. Tihomir Opetuk and Mr. Hrvoje Cojner.

During the meeting, both universities introduced their institutions, academic programs, and mobility structures, and discussed potential opportunities for cooperation, particularly within the scope of the Erasmus+ programme. The participants exchanged ideas on developing joint research projects, facilitating student and staff exchanges, and strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration.
