On 31 August 2026, Istanbul Gedik University and Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jawa Timur (UPNVJT) held an online meeting to discuss opportunities for developing and strengthening bilateral academic cooperation between the two institutions.

During the meeting, representatives from both universities introduced their respective institutions, faculties, academic programmes, and internationalization activities. The participants also exchanged views on potential areas of cooperation and discussed possible opportunities for future collaboration, including student and staff mobility, academic cooperation, joint activities, and other international initiatives.

The meeting provided an opportunity for both institutions to explore common academic interests and identify potential areas for further collaboration, particularly in fields related to engineering and other relevant academic disciplines.
