Faculty of Engineering and International Relations Office Discuss Erasmus+ Expansion Strategies
On 17 February 2026, a productive meeting was held with the academic staff of the Faculty of Engineering at Istanbul Gedik University to discuss the future of Erasmus+ Mobility programs.
The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Egemen Sulukan, alongside Dr. Ahmet Kubilay Atalay, Dr. Murathan Alpay, and Dr. Ozan Ateş. The session was led by Lecturer Yücel Kamar, Director of International Relations and Erasmus Institutional Coordinator.
The primary focus of the discussion was to evaluate current Erasmus+ mobility trends, review the number of active inter-institutional agreements, and develop strategies to increase faculty participation in Centralized Projects (Centrally Managed Actions). Participants shared insights on how to enhance international collaboration and streamline application processes for engineering-specific research and mobility grants.
This meeting underscores the Faculty of Engineering’s commitment to academic internationalization and its goal to provide students and staff with broader global research opportunities.
