The opening lecture of the programme was delivered on 8 June 2026 by Prof. Dr. Şahir Dinçşahin, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences at Istanbul Gedik University. Following the opening lecture, participants were introduced to the structure and objectives of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme, and detailed information regarding its academic content and implementation process was presented. Representatives of the partner universities subsequently introduced their institutions, contributing to the establishment of the first academic and intercultural interactions among participants.

The first day of the programme concluded with lectures delivered by Prof. Dr. Metin Toptaş and Prof. Dr. Piotr Sedlak. During these sessions, current approaches to international trade networks, logistics corridors, and the resilience of global supply chains were examined. Participants were also provided with comprehensive insights into the challenges currently facing the sector as well as emerging opportunities in the field.

The online component of the programme will be completed on 12 June 2026, while the physical mobility phase and face-to-face academic activities will take place between 15 and 21 June 2026 at Istanbul Gedik University. Throughout the on-site week, students and academics from the partner institutions will participate in lectures, workshops, and various academic and cultural activities, thereby contributing to the enhancement of international cooperation and intercultural exchange.
