Collaboration Meeting Focused on Asia-Pacific and South Asia Held at Istanbul Gedik University
A meeting was held under the leadership of the İstanbul Gedik Üniversitesi Asia-Pacific Strategic Studies Application and Research Center to discuss future collaborations between the South Asia Strategic Research Center and the International Relations and Erasmus Coordinatorship.
The meeting was attended by Sibel Karabel, Director of the Asia-Pacific Strategic Studies Application and Research Center; Cemal Demir, President of the South Asia Strategic Research Center; and Lecturer Yücel Kamar, Director of International Relations and Erasmus Institutional Coordinator, along with Advisor Ezgi Yıldız from the International Relations and Erasmus Coordinatorship.
During the meeting, participants discussed strengthening academic studies focused on the South Asia and Asia-Pacific regions, developing joint research projects, organizing international symposiums and workshops, and increasing student and academic staff mobility.
In addition, evaluations were made regarding the development of Erasmus+ projects in the Asia and Asia-Pacific regions, increasing student and staff mobility, and implementing potential inter-institutional agreements.
The parties exchanged views on enhancing inter-institutional coordination and establishing sustainable cooperation mechanisms, reaching a mutual understanding to take concrete steps in the upcoming period.
