Assoc. Prof. Dr. Redvan Ghasemlounia from the Department of Civil Engineering at Istanbul Gedik University successfully participated in the Erasmus+ KA171 Staff Training Mobility Programme hosted by Khazar University in Baku, Azerbaijan, between 6 and 10 July 2026.

During the mobility, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ghasemlounia attended a series of training sessions focusing on international higher education cooperation, Erasmus+ implementation practices, staff training methodologies, and institutional internationalization strategies. The programme also provided an excellent platform for exchanging experiences on mobility management and exploring innovative approaches to strengthening international academic collaboration.

Beyond the training activities, the mobility enabled productive discussions with colleagues from various countries, creating new opportunities for future academic partnerships and reinforcing the university's international network.

Istanbul Gedik University continues to support the active participation of its academic staff in international mobility programmes, recognizing their valuable contribution to institutional development, intercultural exchange, and global academic engagement.
